  • Surprises on your invoice

The only cost, in plain English

Card payments have to be processed by somebody, so you pick:

  • Use our payments: a flat 3% transaction fee on winning payments only. Nothing to set up, money settles to the charity.
  • Or connect your own Stripe: you manage the payments and pay Stripe direct. BID charges you nothing at all.

Either way the platform itself stays free, and we never take a cut of what you raise.

Optional bidder support

At checkout, winning bidders can add a small percentage to support BID. It is entirely optional, completely transparent, and it never changes what the charity pays, which is nothing. Why we are free →

Event ticketing

Selling tickets or tables for the night? We charge £1 per ticket sold plus the same 3% transaction fee, and the 3% disappears the moment you connect your own Stripe. Build ticket types, couples tickets and table plans in minutes.

Bolt on service

We bring the lots, the team and the payment terminals.

See the full bolt on

This is not a catalogue add-on. It is a full event service. Our team joins you on the night with curated memorabilia and art to work the room, drive bids and process live auction payments at the table. Celebrity experiences are reserved and confirmed ahead of the event.

We do not make money from event staff. Your dedicated BID event manager leads the team, while assistants are experienced agency staff we train to run the room the BID way.

What you can add

  • Signed sports, music and film memorabilia
  • Limited and original artwork
  • Celebrity experiences with current stars and legends
  • Full authentication and provenance supplied

Live auction payment terminals

We can supply payment terminals on the night so winning bidders can pay at the table as the room celebrates. Card processing for live auction payments carries a 5% card fee and processing charge, taken only when a payment is processed through the terminal.

The results

56%
More bids on memorabilia and art
31%
More revenue on these lots

Based on past auction data. When bidders can see the lots before and during the event, engagement rises and final hammer prices follow. Sourced direct with no middleman, so you can already secure lots up to 100% cheaper than other providers. The margin is yours to keep.
